Up for sale, here’s a gorgeous Fender American Standard Jazz Bass in Olympic white with Maple board. 100% original, made in Corona, CA USA in 2013. In Very Good condition with its original tag. Allen wrenches and its original black tolex case.

First owner, practically unused. An original and stunning Olympic White finish with a 4-ply Tortoise Shell pickguard and maple fretboard are a classic combo. As usual on these years, these American Standard series were equipped with Fender Custom Shop ‘ 60s Jazz Bass single coil pickups, which it’s a really cool plus. The controls are the typical passive Vol – Vol – Master Tone, solid and simple.

It has the typical and slimmer modern “C” Profile with 1.5″ nut width, classic Jazz Bass playability and 9.5″ radius. It’s a beautiful piece of a stunning flamed maple and maple fingerboard. Even though the fingerboard and front headstock have a gloss lacquer finish, the back of the neck has a very thin layer of satin finish which makes it very smooth to play. The neck is perfectly straight (truss rod works perfect as expected) and without any fret issues at all, currently set low very comfortable, strung with a fresh set of D’addario Pro Steels .045″ – .100″. It really plays beautiful.

These American Standard Series were for decades what nowadays they’ve been renamed as “American Professional” (I & II), and with minimal changes, they’re all pretty much the same. They’re well known for being super solid and reliable workhorse for pros, getting the traditional Jazz Bass tone ar a reasonable price point.

This one in particular is one of its kind, the color, the weight and balance makes it a winner. Aesthetically, it shows some light wear, little dings although no big blemishes at all. The instrument It’s fully functional and in overall great shape. It comes with its original black tolex case in good condition, with some visible wear outside however with all latches closing and fully functional.
